I created this artwork after visiting Bryce Canyon during a solo trip in the winter of 2020. The park was breathtaking, and like nowhere else I've been. The massive hoodoos dusted with snow made it feel like I was on some alien world or the set of a sci-fi movie. Needless to say, this park instantly became one of my favorite national parks. As for the artwork itself, I created it in Adobe Illustrator over the course of about a month. I'd work on it when I had downtime and wanted to get taken back to those two beautiful days exploring the park. I hope this piece can pass along a small sliver of the joy and wonder I experienced.
I created this poster for Creative Action Network's "See America" campaign.
